anybody out there with opinions on the value of drinking distilled water?
somebody recommended that I switch, as distilled water is the healthiest,
but is it really OK for long-term use as drinking water?
thanks

From the little research that I have done in this area, my understanding
is that distilled water is essentially dead water and it is not good to
drink for any length of time. Since it is devoid of minerals it will
leach minerals from your body. If your buying it in plastic containers
it has been sitting on the shelf for days, maybe weeks, leaching the
elements out of the plastic. You are going to be drinking that as well.
I have recently seen some information on alkaline water. These type of
water treatment systems are used extensively in Japan and some other asian
countries. The video that I saw was very impressive.
All the best,
Jim
PS. Don’t drink the water.

>Hi Jim.You’re correct…alkaline water is an excellent source of
excess oxygen, calcium, potassium and magnesium (alkaline
minerals)which is the result of electrolysis of ordinary tap water.
It’s unfortunate we Americans are so slow in learning alternative
health methods of the Japanese and Koreans.
