Alternative, complementary and holistic health care

I have uterine fibroids that are growing despite all the alternative
health things I have tried– diet, exersise, visualizations, herbs,
vitamins and minerals,and enzymes.  My doctor suggested a myomectomy and
although I feel this is the right thing to do I am still worried about
having surgery. Is there anyone out there who has had this surgery or
knows anyone that has who can give me any insights or tell me what they
learned or experienced?
