Yes, it’s the age-old mother’s cure of inhaling steam for 15-20 minutes 3 x a
day (dish of hot boiling water with a towel over your head will do the trick).
It works for me but it depends on where the sinus infection is (i.e. if it’s
lodged somewhere back in there, it may not work.) Turmeric is also an
excellent Ayurvedic antibiotic herb while at the same time it strengthens
digestion and helps to improve intestinal flora.

I’ll be anxious to hear the responses to this one. My husband suffers
horribly with these. We have been using Colliquial (SP?) with good
success, by inhaling these in the nose.
Worst case scenario: a shot of cortizone from the doctor.

I’ve used a great cure for sinus infections that is in Jeanne Rose’s
Aromatherapy book. Basically, you get a fresh garlic clove, and mash it up
in warm water. Then you strain this mixture (I use a small piece of silk),
so that all you have is the water (no pieces of garlic). Snort about 5
drops worth up both nostrils (I use a dropper) . It will sting! DO this 3 x
a day, using a fresh garlic clove each time. You have to make it fresh.
YOur sinus infection WILL go away in three days. Sometimes, mine have gone
away in two. Good luck. Wendy

Salt water and garlic are both anitbiotics.
.1% Hydrogen Peroxide works well for sinus infections too and
doesn’t smell as much.
