Man Dead From Blue Green Algae

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 3:49 am

In Klamath, Oregon today, a 32 year old man suffered a massive heart attack while
rushing to the bank to cash the checks from all his friends and relatives after
enlisting them as distributors of a product he claimed would cure all their
physical ailments, eliminate the need to eat or sleep and double their earnings.

Pycnogenol vs. Grape Seed Extract?

I’ve heard different stories about which is better – pycnogenol or grape
seed extract.  Does anyone know for sure?!

Seeking Bates' Eye Info

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 3:00 pm

I am looking for Dr. Bates’ book, The Bates Method for Better Eyesight.  It
was published during the ’40′s, I think.  Does anyone know if it has been
reprinted?  Where can I find a copy?

Also, has anyone successfully used Dr. Bates’ method or any other forms of
eye exercises to improve their vision?  I hate wearing glasses, and contact
lenses gave me astigmatism — as if I didn’t have bad enough eyes to start
with!

Hmmm.  This is interesting.  I’ve never heard of the association
between "skin tags" and diabetes, *but* I had a few pop out around
my neck this past year, and 3 months ago I was diagnosed with
diabetes.   Where did you hear about this association?

herbalists

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 2:59 pm

I’m looking for an active group interested in taking a stand in what
they believe in.  I have a Ph.D. in clinical psychology, and practice
holistic health care.  My personal beliefs are that more health care
providers should be "allowed" to follow a patient/client/person’s
illness/wellness through use of tools to aid in listening to the
heart (i.e. stethescope), watching the blood pressure, and to order
blood tests.  My interest in both psychology and herbal medicine.  I
am limited in giving more than anecdotal evidence that some of the
herbs have fantastic results because the medical board in my state
would consider the examination and offering of treatment the practice
of medicine.  Being a licensed health care provider, I understand the
need for quality assurance and of a board to police a profession.  I
do not believe it need be, or should be, the medical board though.

Have you ever wondered whether or not we were missing out on a lot of
fantastic treatments, and perhaps scientific advancements because we
must work within the medical model?

Is there a "strong" or "active" group of holistic practioners willing
to push for their rights to practice?  If not, and you would like to
help form one, write me.

If anyone disagrees with my views, I would appreciate hearing from them
openly or in email.

Would you mind sharing where you received your doctorate, and in what?
I don’t mean to sound cruel, but I serious doubts that you cured
yourself of AIDS, thus I’m concerned what your motive may be.  I
wouldn’t ask these questions if it weren’t for the fact that you
are using your Ph.D. in your FROM field, and – you must admit –
claiming something that would probably win you the nobel prize
if it were true.   Did your physician document your case?   I would
appreciate hearing more from you about you.
