Alternative, complementary and holistic health care

can anyone supply symptoms of lyme disease
and alternative treatment

I am looking for a definitive article or book on Syndrome-X to give

my doctor to read.  I only know what I hear on the radio from

Drs Adkins and Hoffman on WOR (AM 710) in the New York

Area.  (syndrome-X = cellular insulin resistance, with HIGH triglycerides,

and high cholesterol, [High "LDL"],  tendency towards fat around the gut,

and double the chances for heart trouble.)

If anyone could supply the name and date of a publication,

I will look it up.

Does anyone know what happened to the American Association of Naturopathic
Physician’s World Wide Web site?  I was just looking at it about 2 weeks
ago and got information on Bastyr University.  Now I can’t seem to find it.
 Did they take it off line?

Also, I received information about the AANP’s upcoming conference.  In the
program, the NCNP(?) was mentioned frequently.  (I don’t have the program
with me, so I can’t remember if that was the exact acronym.)  It seemed
like it could stand for National College for Naturopathic Physicians (or
Medicine if it was an "M" at the end).  Anyone heard of this institution?

I have been listening to Gary Null on the radio (WBAI 12 noon weekdays in
NYC) for a while now.  I find a lot of what he says intriguing.  However
I’d be interested in any feedback concerning the validity/reliability of
the information he presents.  Some of it seems pretty questionable.

Hi! Hope you don’t mond the message?  I saw and drew down your message
about 851 and it’s relation to cancer (msg dated 6 Jul 95, 10:41:02 CDT)
a while back.  
I have a friend who’s mother has cancer of the Liver and was both doing very
poorly as well as being told there is little hope for her or any additional
treatments or procedures which can be done for her.
Up until that time, she had been very sickly, very little appetite along
with the lack of any taste sensations, and unable to get up and around (out
of bed) for any long periods of time over a couple hours.
When I saw your message, I immediately sent it to them in hopes that it may
make some difference somehow.
They were interested in such and that same week went to a Health store and
purchased some of the tea, and began trying it that same day.
Well…
It’s really hard to believe sometimes, but even if it hasn’t actually
regressed the cancer (which at this time is unknown, as they haven’t
retested again yet), but it HAS DEFFINITELY helped her in many ways!
She has gained much of her taste in foods again as well as smell and desire
to eat, been able to keep more down (being less sick to her stomach), and
ahs actually been able to get up and go shopping as well as stay up most of
the day without getting as tired, since she started drinking this tea.
Everyone has been quite surprised about it, and we are all hoping for things
to continue getting better.

We’re not expecting miracles with this, but to see her in so much less pain

We want to ensure that such is not "overused" if such is possible, and also
if any other information of what it does or may do, along with possible
other sources.

Note again… we are not claiming it has cured her, but it has helped
improve drastically her condition from what it was, even over the
"so-called" treatments and medications that physicians have been giving her.
 Also, she still continues medications too, but none have ever helped her a lot.

I have been on the sure start program for four weeks now. Cell Tech –
Blue Green Algae is suppose to be a sure thing! I have only notice  
minuscle changes if any in my physical and mental energy levels. Should
I give up on this  food supplement and get my money back or
